APRA Information for Performing Artists

The Australian Performing Right Association (APRA) is a musicians number 1 safeguard.  APRA offers musicians an easy way to legally play and replicate other musicians’ work, without copping a hefty copyright fee.  Similarly, APRA protects your music from being illegally copyrighted by others, as well ensuring that you are getting properly paid for your creations.

It is EXTREMELY important that a musician fills out an APRA Details Form whenever an event or festival requires one, as this will ensure that you are paid for your works, and works of artists that you cover, as festivals pay for an APRA license.

Do you need to fill out an APRA Details Form?

Find one linked below and send it ASAP to music@courthouse.org.au
