Looking for some fun activities for the kids? Or maybe just something to inspire your next creative venture? So far this school holidays we’ve had cartoon and musc industry workshops, a dance party, traditional aboriginal storytelling and heaps more, but fear not, there’s still a few things left to enjoy.

Below is a list of the events on before school starts back:

Basics of Photography

When: 11.30am-1.30pm, Wednesday April 11

What: A workshop about the basics of photography. Learn how to use the manual settings of your camera and how to use specific settings in different environments. This workshop will also cover some basic editing techniques that can be used on instagram and photoshop. Bring along a camera if you have one available! Workshop facilitated by Monique Pizzica.

APRA AMCOS Songwriter Information Session

When:4pm, Thursday April 12

What: Nicholas from APRA AMCOS will also be coming along so you can refresh your knowledge on APRA AMCOS writer services, or simply begin your journey on knowing all the important things that APRA do for Australian songwriters.

Traditional Aboriginal Storytelling and Activities
When: 10am-12pm, Friday April 13

What: Traditional Aboriginal storytelling with local artist, musician and storyteller Norm Jurrawaa Stanley for the first hour. The second hour, Norm, Aunty Helen and Aunty Marg will provide 3 x 1 hour cultural activities to choose from.
