Brackets Art Prize 2019

In May, CHYA teamed up with Analogue Academy and Creative Geelong to bring you the inaugural Brackets Art Prize. BAP showcased the regions most exciting emerging arts talent and was curated across 3 venues, opening over 3 consecutive nights from May 22-24th and running for a week after. Brackets was made possible thanks to the City of Greater Geelong and Creative Victoria, and has been a joint effort between Courthouse Youth Arts, Creative Geelong and Analogue Academy. We’d like to acknowledge that this prize and event has taken place on the stolen land of the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nation. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture
